Tom H. Youngblood
Mr. Tom Howard Youngblood of Leesburg, passed away on Monday, Aug. 4th, 2008 at the age of 70. He was born in Meadville, Pa., to Thomas J. and Lottie R. (McClimans) Youngblood. Tom served in the U.S. Navy and was past master of Tropical Lodge No. 56 F&AM in Ft. Myers, 33rd degree Scottish Rite, was past patron of the Ft. Myers Chapter 31 Order of the Eastern Star, was a member of the York Rite and the Boy Scouts of America since he was 12 years old. Tom retired as a telecommunications manager from Sprint. He relocated to Florida, living in Ft. Myers for many years and then moved to Leesburg in 1984. He is remembered by his loving wife, Mary Jane; sons, Kevin Lee Youngblood of Gainesville, and Brian Scott Youngblood of Leesburg; sister, Karen Youngblood of Otto, N.C.; and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 20th, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Lake Square Presbyterian Church in Leesburg. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the Lake Square Presbyterian Church, 10200 Morningside Drive, Leesburg, FL 34788 or the Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation, 12902 Magnolia Drive, UTC-FOUND, Tampa, FL 33612.
