Obituary

John G. Hoffman, age 70, of N. Fort Myers, passed away on Feb. 26, 2008. He graduated from Fort Myers High School in 1957. He was a Naval veteran from 1957 on the USS Zellers. He retired from United Telephone in 1993. His hobbies included drag racing, antique cars and tractors, car shows. Another favorite was to travel and spend several months throughout the year in his and Linda's log cabin in Green Mountain, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents John R. Hoffman and Mary Hoffman; son John Robert Hoffman. John was married 33 years to his wife Linda. He is also survived by his daughters, Lindsay (Josh) Wright, Kristy Hoffman, Donna (Dana) Berry; sons, John Scott (Kim) Hoffman, Tony (Theresa) Hoffman; grandchildren, Dylan, Alexander, Lauren, Sara Jonathan, Luke Annie, Emma, Megan, Spencer; sisters, Shirley (Bob),Joan (Archie), nephew, Brian; niece, Theresa. John was dedicated, hardworking, loved his family and cherished friends.

There will be a Memorial Service Saturday, March 1, 2008 1:00 pm at Hope Hospice Chapel, 2430 Diplomat Pkwy. East, Cape Coral. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hope Hospice or St. Jude's Children Hospital. Arrangements by National Cremation Society.
